Ski Bunny

additional picture of Isabella on the slopes.

There is nothing like SNOW for us Georgia Folks

Here in Georgia, we are NOT picky about our snow. Any ole snow will do. We even appreciate a good ice storm. There is nothing like the sight of snow! We were feeling the snow bug so, we went to Beech Mountain, NC this past week. The kids had a great time (so did Mommy & Daddy). We rented a house and our neighbors (friends) went with us. We also met up with the twins (Heidi & Caroline) in ski school. It was a lot of fun - we did wish there were MORE snow, but what we had was GREAT! Isabella was so excited to make a snow angel. My mom went went us as well(and stayed with Evan). Thank you Mom (again)! Next year, when Evan can fly, we will go back out West (or NY) for our snow fix.

Grin and Bare It

Our boy rarely cries, so I had to show off this picture. You can also see that he now has two teeth! Isabella was a slow (painful) teether. Evan is not! His cheeks got red one day, we put him to bed that night and the next morning, my mom discovered he had a tooth, then the same process for tooth # 2. Let hope that is the cycle with the rest of them! He is also somewhat sitting on his own (when propped up). He is also just on the verge of crawling. Time to babyproof the house. Anyway, he is a cutie pie and this is his post to show you that!
Enjoy.

Isabella turns FIVE all week long!

Well it has been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened since our last post. Mike celebrated his birthday, our little nephew, Jordan, turned 1 and of course, Isabella turned 5. I am not sure every 4 year old anticipates their 5th birthday like ours did, but she was excited. I am pretty sure she has been talking about turning five since last summer. She wanted a gymnastics birthday this year so we went to My Gym. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. I think we have officially declared Feb 1-7 "Isabella Birthday Week!" It was a good week for her, starting with her gift from Makayla and Marleigh (her friends from NY - see pic w/dog), then her party, she was Star Student at school, we had snack duty all week, Mommy was a mystery reader and we went to North Carolina to ski (see next post). Needless to say, it was a great week and now we are anticipating her 6th birthday week!
