Baby Steps...

You have heard the phrase, "Always take baby steps." Well in this case, it is all he has... hee hee
Evan is growing so quickly. He is standing, waving, babbling and now taking baby steps!

Ryan & Corrie Beth were married May 30, 2009

It was a great day in Clinton, SC. My brother and his new wife, Corrie Beth, celebrated their wedding day! Everything was great. They looked so very happy.

Update on the kids

Well we have been so busy that I have not had much time to post updates. The children are doing well. Isabella is playing soccer again and will be graduating from Pre-K in 3 weeks! Evan is crawing, waving, standing, babbling and now has three teeth. He weighs 19 pounds and is 28 inches. They both are growing so fast!
I don't know about you, but it seems like this spring has been flying by. It will be summer before you know it. We took the family to New Orleans to see Aunt Kelly, Uncle Colin and cousin Lucy for Easter. It was a lot of fun. As stated above, soccer season has also started again and The Soccer Sharks are doing VERY well this season. Isabella has been scoring about 4 goals per game! She really loves it. We are gearing up for Uncle Ryan and Aunt Corrie's wedding and Cousin Monica & Brents wedding as well. Next are swim lessons and cheerleading camp. Should be a busy summer. I wll post more later.

She really does have talent. See for yourself.

Ski Bunny

additional picture of Isabella on the slopes.

There is nothing like SNOW for us Georgia Folks

Here in Georgia, we are NOT picky about our snow. Any ole snow will do. We even appreciate a good ice storm. There is nothing like the sight of snow! We were feeling the snow bug so, we went to Beech Mountain, NC this past week. The kids had a great time (so did Mommy & Daddy). We rented a house and our neighbors (friends) went with us. We also met up with the twins (Heidi & Caroline) in ski school. It was a lot of fun - we did wish there were MORE snow, but what we had was GREAT! Isabella was so excited to make a snow angel. My mom went went us as well(and stayed with Evan). Thank you Mom (again)! Next year, when Evan can fly, we will go back out West (or NY) for our snow fix.

Grin and Bare It

Our boy rarely cries, so I had to show off this picture. You can also see that he now has two teeth! Isabella was a slow (painful) teether. Evan is not! His cheeks got red one day, we put him to bed that night and the next morning, my mom discovered he had a tooth, then the same process for tooth # 2. Let hope that is the cycle with the rest of them! He is also somewhat sitting on his own (when propped up). He is also just on the verge of crawling. Time to babyproof the house. Anyway, he is a cutie pie and this is his post to show you that!
Enjoy.

Isabella turns FIVE all week long!

Well it has been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened since our last post. Mike celebrated his birthday, our little nephew, Jordan, turned 1 and of course, Isabella turned 5. I am not sure every 4 year old anticipates their 5th birthday like ours did, but she was excited. I am pretty sure she has been talking about turning five since last summer. She wanted a gymnastics birthday this year so we went to My Gym. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. I think we have officially declared Feb 1-7 "Isabella Birthday Week!" It was a good week for her, starting with her gift from Makayla and Marleigh (her friends from NY - see pic w/dog), then her party, she was Star Student at school, we had snack duty all week, Mommy was a mystery reader and we went to North Carolina to ski (see next post). Needless to say, it was a great week and now we are anticipating her 6th birthday week!
